About Me

Building things that matter

I was born and raised in sunny Southern California, but I've lived all across the United States — from the Pacific Northwest to New Orleans to North Carolina. Living on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast, I get to enjoy great sun and great food with my husband and pets.

I got into engineering the way a lot of developers do: curiosity first, then obsession. What started as tinkering turned into a career building things that actually matter — ERPs that run production floors, platforms that scale to thousands of daily transactions, and apps that real people use every day.

My philosophy on technical leadership is simple: write clean code, communicate clearly, and always be the person who figures it out. I've led international teams and worked as a sole developer. Both teach you something different, and both make you better.

When I'm not coding, I like creative writing and pushing low-quality books onto self-publishing platforms.

About this site

Built with

This site was created with a persona-based AI workflow using Claude Code. Three distinct AI personas — Resume Strategist, Designer, and Developer — each owned a layer of the process: the Strategist crafted compelling copy from raw career content, the Designer defined the visual system and tokens, and the Developer implemented the site exactly from that spec. The workflow demonstrates how context is the engine of consistent AI output — ever since the von Neumann era where neural nets were novelties, the key focus has been on context. Modern AI development revolves around it, and this project is a clear example of how carefully managed context produces coherent, quality results across multiple passes.
